Serre-Chevalier has an excellent snow record thanks to its high altitude. The ski area is spread out over 250 km of pistes between an altitude of 1200m and 2830m. In total there are 104 pistes suiting every ability and all types of skiing from high altitude bowls to larch forests... 74 ski lifts including ultra modern highspeed 4 and 6 seater chairlifts, some of the longest lifts in Europe... but also lifts for children and beginners such as magic carpets and rope drags.

Cross country skiing
The sizeable artificial snow making facilities guarantee the best snow conditions for skiing down to the valley towards the end of the season. In total 45km of pistes are covered with 350 snow guns.

The snowparks include a big air and a superpipe.
45 Km of cross country skiing tracks, most of them through the larch forest. The neighbouring valley of Nevache is a jewel and has 75km of cross ountry tracks to discover.
Serre Chevalier is also host to numerous events during the winter season : Le Trail Blanc (running race), Comedy Festival, le Trophée Andros (car race on ice), Kite Surf Winter Tour...
